Since Brooke Shields' Lolita-esque commercial for Calvin Klein jeans in the 80s, the brand has never been the same. In fact, while other products want lots of exposure for their multi-million dollar 30-second productions, Calvin Klein, owned by Phillips-Van Heusen, seems more interested in getting their commercials banned. What do you think?
Is Calvin Klein's latest foray into the too-sexy-for-t.v. spot (SEE LATEST COMMERCIAL BELOW) really that bad - should it be banned from network stations? Take the poll and let us know! Or just leave a racy comment!!! xo
P.S. The new CK interactive website just launched, I think it's a little too heavy-handed - they may be underestimating the sophistication of their audience. See for yourself: www.ckin2u.com
I think it's fine, but maybe not for regular tv.
